Tbilisi Railway StationThe project “Find Your Path” is inspired by the essence of movement the continuous flow of people, trains, and stories that define the city of Tbilisi. Positioned within the urban fabric and near the existing railway network, the new station reinterprets the geometry of the tracks not only as infrastructure but as an architectural language of connection and discovery. The roof of the station becomes the main conceptual and structural element. Designed as a series of parallel, dynamic lines that echo the form of train tracks, it embodies the idea of multiple journeys intersecting in one place. These lines rise and fall rhythmically, creating a sculptural surface that hovers above the platforms and concourse. At certain points, the lines descend toward the ground, becoming structural pilasters a poetic gesture where the paths of travel physically touch and support the architecture itself. This integration of form and function transforms the roof into a metaphor for finding one’s path: the tracks above are not confined to a single direction but shift, bend, and connect inviting each traveler to choose their route through the space. The design blurs the boundary between motion and structure, infrastructure and landscape, path and place.Natural light filters between the roof’s linear forms, animating the interior with a constantly changing pattern of shadows and light, symbolizing the passage of time and movement. The material palette steel, and glass reflects the industrial heritage of railway architecture while maintaining a sense of openness, transparency, and urban vibrancy.“Find Your Path” is more than a station; it is a spatial experience that captures the spirit of Tbilisi a city of layers, crossings, and encounters. It celebrates the act of travel not only as a means of movement but as a journey of identity and direction. The architecture becomes a living metaphor: each line a possibility, each path a story.
