Function

Vault

The bank vault is reimagined as a labyrinth a secure, intricate network of spaces designed for both protection and human experience. Inside, all employee areas are inverted within the structure, creating a spatial journey where circulation and functions are deliberately choreographed, reflecting both operational complexity and the hidden world of banking.
Interspersed throughout the labyrinth are internal gardens, providing moments of calm and natural respite within a highly controlled environment. These green spaces contrast with the precision and solidity of the vault, offering employees a sense of orientation, wellbeing, and connection to nature amidst the rigorous demands of the workspace.
The architecture celebrates exploration, order, and discovery, turning the internal workings of the vault into an experience rather than a purely functional facility. Visitors perceive the exterior as strong, secure, and discreet, while employees navigate a carefully layered, living interior a balance of security, transparency, and human comfort.
This concept transforms the idea of a vault into a hidden ecosystem, where strength, secrecy, and serenity coexist, and where the journey through space becomes as meaningful as the function it serves.
